After not running in the last 2 weeks, I still managed to complete one last run in 2024 with the running group today. A nice run in bright sunshine with the 9 km group.

A relaxed run with the running group today. In cool temperatures and clear air, a lap without paying attention to the pace. So it was only 8.6 instead of 9 kilometers, but it was fun.

Running part of today's route through the forest was not a good idea. After all the rain, the forest paths were very muddy and therefore very slippery. As a result, the planned 9 kilometers were only 8.3 kilometers to keep the running time to around one hour. But it was still fun.

After I dropped out of the run on Sunday, things went very well again today, at least with the running group over the 9 kilometers.

Sometimes it just doesn't want to work. I wanted to run the 10-kilometer course at the Ahnatal winter running series in bright sunshine. After 500 meters, I noticed that I couldn't put one leg in front of the other. I thought that somehow I could still get into the race, but after one kilometer I gave up.
It just wasn't my day, maybe I still had a two-week cold in my body. I have to enjoy running and not turn it into torture.
